AutoGrid, a leader in flexibility management software, announced today that it has appointed Christopher Sternberg as its chief operating officer. In this role, Sternberg will oversee execution of the company’s business strategy and drive adoption of its flagship applications, AutoGrid Flex™ and AutoGrid Engage™.

Most recently, Sternberg was a managing director at Genscape, a company that provides applications and market data fundamentals to companies in the hydrocarbon supply chain. Prior to Genscape, he was the global director at Platts, managing the company’s portfolio of real-time pricing, analytical platforms, and market data distribution. Sternberg was also vice president of sales, marketing and product management at Aspect Enterprise Solutions, an industry pioneer in software-as-a-service for commodity trading, logistics, and risk management systems.

“We are excited to add someone with Christopher’s wealth of energy and enterprise software experience to our team,” said Dr. Amit Narayan, CEO of AutoGrid. “His skill in managing diverse global teams will support AutoGrid’s rapid growth in North America, Europe and Asia, as we continue to support the transformation of the energy system and help create a world where everyone has reliable access to clean, affordable energy.”
