Alternative Energy Pegasus Solar Raises Series A Funding

Pegasus Solar announced the completion of a Series A financing round, led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund, with participation from Okapi Venture Partners.

Pegasus Solar, founded in 2012, designs innovative rooftop mounting systems for global solar markets. The company was funded for commercialization in mid-2014 and is currently launching a new rail-less system, LightSpeed Mount Residential. Operating from facilities in San Jose, CA, Pegasus Solar’s team of solar industry veterans, engineers and experienced energy executives plan to simplify solar adoption, speeding up installations and driving down cost.

According to the company, Pegasus will use the proceeds to expand its sales and customer support teams and to continue its efforts to design and manufacture efficient and functional solar mounting systems.
