Site 1001 announced the completion of $6 million in financing. JE Dunn, Flyover Capital, Tifec, Ward Ventures, and The KC Rise Fund participated in the funding.

Site 1001 is an AI-based building management and maintenance platform that uses core building information, building systems and sensor data, in combination with artificial intelligence, to put the “smart” in “smart buildings.” The company aims to help owners, operators and facility management (FM) pros save money and improve building performance by delivering FM information to the right person in the right place at the right time. Coupled with the company’s AI technology, which can anticipate maintenance issues and automatically interact with building systems, Site 1001 users can improve efficiency, slash FM costs, and extend equipment life cycles without increasing workloads.

The company revealed that the new round allows Site 1001 to expand into areas that include smart city infrastructure, Internet of things, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
