Software Startup Fruit Street Health Raises $3 Million

Fruit Street Health announced it has secured $3 million in financing from two investors.

Fruit Street Health’s telemedicine and wearable device software allow healthcare providers accurately to monitor lifestyle and behavioral health through a patient portal. The company provides actionable data about patients’ sleep, exercise, diet and weight. Using portable devices, patients can also explore blood test results online and share visual food diaries with their healthcare providers.

In its announcement, the company said Fruit Street has raised the new capital to fund additional software development through its joint venture agreement with vsee.com and to hire additional dietitians to deliver the diabetes prevention program to commercial health plans.
