PriorAuthNow Secures $3.6 Million

Insurancetech startup PriorAuthNow announced it has raised $3.6 million in financing. NCT Ventures and Detroit Venture Partners participated in the round.

Based in Columbus, OH, PriorAuthNow has created secure software that works with EHR systems and connects directly with insurance carriers, making it the fastest, most economical way to submit, monitor, and complete prior authorizations. The company’s solution eliminates the need for lengthy phone calls, going to many different payer sites, and filling out the many different authorization forms, which saves providers and their staff countless administrative hours.

According to the company, funds raised from this investment round will be used to expand the PriorAuthNow team and expedite the roll out of the company’s platform to some of the largest hospital systems in the U.S.
