Medium Introduces Partner Program

Today, online publishing platform Medium launched Medium 3.0, a new Medium Partner Program.

Medium’s team believes that quality content needs to be paid for by consumers — not advertisers — so creators can do their best work with their interests aligned to those of consumers. Accordingly, creators in the Medium 3.0 partner program will be paid based on the level of engagement their stories get from Medium members. The program was created by Medium’s head of product, Michael Sippey; product manager Katie Zhu; and engineering lead Brian Zotter.
