Mobile startup Limelight Health completed $7 million in Series B financing. MassMutual Ventures, AXA Strategic Ventures, Wanxiang America, Portag3 Ventures, and Plug and Play Ventures participated in the funding.

Limelight was founded by health insurance industry experts who saw an opportunity to lead the transformation in how people shop and select their health insurance and employee benefits. Using mobile-first technology, Limelight provides a new platform solution for the insurance industry that connects and integrates data with other functions, including payroll, CRM, benefits administration, and compliance. The company’s business solution supports the decision-making process with advanced quoting and other support tools while saving time and eliminating redundancies. Its app, QuotePad, offers quoting, integration, and census data collection solutions for health insurance agents. Founded in 2014, Limelight Health is based in San Francisco, CA.

In its announcement, the company said it will use the funding to fuel growth and expand its software platform.
