Internet & IoT Startup Netlify Raises $12 Million

Internet & IoT Startup Netlify Raises $12 Million to help developers automate coding

Netlify completed $12 million in Series A financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Andreessen Horowitz, Bloomberg Beta, Designer Fund, and Tank Hill Ventures.

Netlify is a unified platform that automates developers code to create high-performance, easily maintainable sites and web apps. The platform has been used by more than 100,000 developers across 350,000 websites. Netlify ensures that old caches are invalidated in the same instant a new site is published, serving only the intended version across the globe. That way, developers don’t have to worry whether a user is visiting a cached version after a new site has been deployed.

The company revealed that Netlify intends to use the funds to build out its collaboration tools and infrastructure to support both individual developers and large organizations adopting the stack.
