Fintech Startup BillingPlatform Raises $18 Million

BillingPlatform announced it has secured $18 million in Series A financing. Two investors contributed to the round, including Columbia Capital.

BillingPlatform.com is a true cloud billing system, providing all of the software, hardware, network, and compliance required for a high-volume billing solution. It integrates with any type of external equipment interface, payment gateway, or information system. BillingPlatform’s highly customizable architecture allows clients quickly and easily to create new products and services with creative pricing and bundling options at low cost and with very low risk. The system offers a range of charging models, including subscriptions, metered usage, blended rates, and tiered pricing.

According to the company, the money will be used on sales and marketing, product development, and support for BillingPlatform’s global customer base. Columbia Capital said it plans to invest an additional $14 million in BillingPlatform during the next 18 months.
