Enterprise IT Startup VividCortex Raises $8.5 Million

VividCortex announced the completion of $8.5 million in Series A financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Osage Partners, Bull City Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Battery Ventures.

VividCortex is a SaaS-based MySQL monitoring and analysis company founded by Baron Schwartz and Kyle Redinger. The company’s platform delivers detailed performance metrics and analysis, with the goal of changing the way users monitor their servers. The intended result is dramatically more productive developers and operations staff, greatly improved performance and uptime, and significant savings on hardware and infrastructure costs.

In its announcement, the company said VividCortex will use the funds to continue to expand its operations.
