Enterprise IT Startup Converseon Secures $5 Million

Converseon announced it has raised $5 million in Series A financing from an undisclosed investor.

Converseon’s is to be a leader in social strategy and analytics. Its core technology, ConveyAPI, provides next-generation semantic analytics for social and other customer data. Its machine learning driven engine was named Dataweek’s “Top Innovator in Social Data Mining.” The company was also recognized as a leader in 2010 Forrester Wave of Enterprise Social Listening Platforms and as a Strong Performer in 2012 and 2014, with highest industry scores in research consulting, sentiment analysis, and data processing. The company provides a full range of solutions, including consulting-focused turnkey analysis and insights, as well as social data intelligence through its ConveyAPI technology and associated applications.

The company revealed that the funding will allow Converseon to continue scaling out its AI-powered SaaS technology.
