Digital Media Startup Sliver.tv Raises $9.8 Million

Sliver.tv announced it has secured $9.8 million in Series A financing. Seven investors participated in the round: Danhua Capital, DCM Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Samsung Ventures, Sony Venture Capital, Heuristic Capital Partners, and ZP Capital.

Sliver.tv is a platform to record, view, and stream top esports games in fully immersive, 360-degree cinematic VR video. The company’s patented technology immerses  audiences inside 3D game worlds, allowing them to view their favorite players and matches in a way never seen before.
