AgTech Startup iUNU Raises $6 Million

iUNU announced the close of $6 million in financing. Five investors participated in the round, including Initialized Capital, Liquid 2 Ventures, Second Avenue Partners, and FUEL Capital.

iUNU is a Seattle-based lighting company that improves indoor horticulture by using energy-efficient technology designed to increase plant growth and improve quality. Its flagship product is an optimized full spectrum, dual-bulb plasma lighting fixture. The output is comparable to a 1000-watt high intensity discharge light, while consuming only half the electricity and producing a third of the heat. iUNU’s design team is ready to incorporate market specific design features based on customer requirements.
