Utility Associates Raises New Financing

Security startup Utility Associates announced it has raised a new round of financing. Three investors participated in the round, among them Hicks Equity Partners and Braemar Energy Ventures.

Utility Associates, Inc., offers mobile resource management solutions to command and control field operations. Its service provides a view of the current location and status of mobile resources, layered with data from business systems, customer, and outage management, yielding unparalleled awareness of mobile operations.

In its announcement, the company said proceeds from the investment will be used to expand Utility’s marketing and sales teams in the U.S. and internationally, while also providing working capital for the company’s rapidly expanding order base.
