LoftSmart announced the close of $2.7 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

LoftSmart is an end-to-end marketplace for the $144 billion student rental market. Students use LoftSmart to find, lease, and pay for local rentals online. Property managers use it to identify and convert great residents, at a fraction of the traditional cost and transactional complexity. The company’s goal is to create an environment where residents and property managers communicate transparently, transact intelligently, and allocate resources efficiently.
