SlideBean Secures $850,000

Software startup SlideBean announced the close of $850,000 in seed financing from Carao Ventures.

Slidebean is a free web-based presentation tool that lets users create powerful presentations with just a few clicks. By separating content creation from slide design, Slidebean allows users to focus on what matters most while taking care of everything else automatically. The presentation software was released in 2014 and deemed by TheNextWeb as “Instagram for presentations.” With more than 7,000 presentations delivered so far, Slidebean seeks to become the most efficient alternative to traditional software like PowerPoint, as well as creating a new standard in presentation design.

According to Slidebean, it will use the proceeds to launch the new version of its presentation building tool.
