Nyotron announced it has raised $21 million in financing. Four investors contributed to the round, including DGB Investments.

Nyotron is a privately held cyber-security firm based in Silicon Valley and Israel that has developed a new-generation technology to cope with what the company sees as the biggest challenge of today’s digital era: the unknown threat. Its product, Paranoid, aims to be the first-ever threat-agnostic defense technology. It is designed to prevent the most advanced and targeted national-level cyber-attacks on enterprise organizations, requiring no previous knowledge about the threat or its specific methodology. Based on a unique “last-line-of-defense approach,” Nyotron’s technology is designed to mitigate threats that are able to outsmart all other security layers.

In its announcement, the company said the financing was significantly over-subscribed and that it positions the company dramatically to increase product development, worldwide sales, and marketing activities.
