Rapid7 (NASDAQ:RPD), an IT and security analytics company, announced that it has acquired security orchestration and automation company Komand.
Founded in 2015 by Jen Andre, Komand is a security orchestration and automation platform that allows security teams the power quickly to automate and streamline security operations, with no need for code. It allows IT teams to integrate their tools, build automated workflows, and use human decision points to accelerate incident response and move security initiatives forward faster.
Rapid7’s mission is to help companies uncover and address network and application vulnerabilities and to provide analytics that enhance security and minimize risk.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, although one report indicated the purchase price was $50 million in cash and stock.
