Punchbowl Software Secures New Financing

Software startup Punchbowl, Inc. completed a new round of financing from Party City Retail Group.

Punchbowl is a web-based software platform that offers party planning services, customized digital invitations, and greeting cards. The platform guides hosts through all of the steps of planning events and solves common problems along the way. Its party planning features include customizable digital invitations, organizing tools for potlucks, gift registries, local vendor searches, RSVP management, party supplies, photo and video sharing, and other features.

In a separate announcement, Party City unveiled a new digital invitation platform powered by Punchbowl on PartyCity.com. The new capability provides party organizers with a single source at PartyCity.com to create invitations while ordering party supplies online.
