AgTech startup Prospera closed $15 million in Series B financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Qualcomm Ventures, Cisco Investments, ICV, and Bessemer Venture Partners.

Founded in 2014 by computer scientists with the goal of providing innovative solutions to farmers, Prospera transforms farm production using end-to-end digitalization, from agronomy to operations. Powered by advanced data analytics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence, Prospera’s system gives growers easy-to-use digital tools that seek to achieve better yields, healthier crops, and higher profits. The system visualizes farmers’ entire production on a single web or mobile dashboard. According to the company, Prospera provides unprecedented levels of control and traceability that allow farmers to manage any number of farms and support their decisions with fresh, accurate, and complete data.

A spokesperson said Prospera will use the new funds to accelerate global expansion and broaden its services to support additional crops in both indoor and outdoor environments.
