Internet & IoT startup Pendo announced the close of $25 million in Series C financing. Two investors contributed to the round, including Meritech Capital Partners.
Pendo was founded in late 2013 by people who worked in product development at such companies as Rally, Google, Cisco, and and Red Hat. Pendo provides software product managers and teams with a powerful integrated platform to improve and get insight into the product user experience. Without requiring any engineering resources, organizations can use Pendo to capture user behavior, gather feedback, and provide contextual help inside their applications. This unique combination of capabilities enables companies to create personalized, adaptive experiences for each user.
In its announcement, the company said the extra capital provides opportunities for Pendo to engage more freely in M&A activity, which will enable the company to acquire some smaller competitors and some augmenting technology.
