OnboardIQ Raises $9.1 Million

Software startup OnboardIQ announced the close of $9.1 million in Series A financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Origin Ventures, SoftTech VC, Crosslink Capital, and Y Combinator.

OnboardIQ enables companies quickly to screen and hire independent workforces — managing all the background checks, document signing, scheduling, and city management in a simple dashboard. Enterprise users can also streamline all the tools they use through integrations with providers like HelloSign and Checkr, without additional developer resources or operations time.

According to the company, OnboardIQ tripled its annual revenue, expanded its customer base internationally, and passed the milestone of 3,500,000 applicants screened using the platform, which resulted in 400,000 job placements last year.
