Mobile Startup Cool Cousin Secures $2 Million

Cool Cousin completed $2 million in seed financing. Two investors contributed to the round, among them Elevator Fund.

Cool Cousin is a self-described “next-generation decentralised travel agency for this too-much-information era.” The company allows travelers to connect with like-minded locals to get personalized guidance, in place of spending hours online researching potential destinations.

In its announcement, the company said the capital infusion will be used to scale its platform.
