Lastline Closes $28.5 Million

Security startup Lastline announced the completion of $28.5 million in Series C financing. Six investors participated in the round, among them Thomvest Ventures, Osage Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Barracuda Networks, and NTT Finance Corporation.
Lastline’s goal is to provide best-in-class malware protection to detect and stop advanced persistent threats, zero-day exploits, and evasive malware. The company was founded in 2011 by world-renowned security researchers and creators of earlier malware analysis tools Anubis and Wepawet, which are used by thousands of security vendors, enterprises, and government agencies worldwide. Lastline is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, with offices in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
