Internet and IoT Startup Expert360 Raises $13 Million

Sydney-based Expert360 completed $13 million in Series B financing. Two investors contributed to the round, among them AirTree Ventures.

Expert360 is Australia’s leading marketplace connecting top freelance consultants to the world’s leading global companies in a flexible way that suits both businesses and freelancers.   
The company’s goal is to change the way businesses find talent and facilitate connections. Its platform features more than 10,000 top freelancers and its customer base includes more than 2,500 listed companies, investment firms, consulting firms, SMEs, and entrepreneurs across Australia, North America, Europe, and Asia, many with backgrounds at top management firms, as well as leading blue chip businesses.

In its announcement, Expert360 said the investment will help it accelerate its efforts “to realize the future of work.”
