Drone control safety company SkySafe Brings In $11.5 Million

SkySafe announced the close of $11.5 million in Series A financing. Two investors contributed to the round, among them Andreessen Horowitz.

SkySafe was founded in 2015 in San Diego, CA, by a team of drone experts from MIT, UC San Diego, and the Air Force Research Lab. The company’s team includes leaders from the fields of security research, RF engineering, academia, and the military.
