Corelight Raises $9.2 Million

Security startup Corelight announced the close of $9.2 million in Series A financing. Three investors participated in the round, including Accel Partners and Osage Partners.

Corelight plans to be the most powerful network visibility solution for information security professionals. The Corelight Sensor provides information organized in a way that helps enterprise users achieve a deep understanding of network traffic and take action to stop cyber attacks. Its sensor solution is built on Bro, the powerful and widely-used open source framework that provides real-time understanding of network traffic.

According to the company, the funding will be used to accelerate the company’s growth through investments in sales, marketing, and engineering.
