Bricata Secures $8 Million

Security startup Bricata announced it has raised $8 million in Series A financing. Two investors contributed to the round, including Edison Partners.

Bricata’s network security solutions aim to deliver innovative next generation intrusion prevention, advanced threat detection and analysis, and threat hunting to enable large organizations actively to identify and pursue advanced, persistent, and coordinated attacks. The Bricata platform provides organizations with process automation, streamlining operations with the most effective, affordable solution for situational awareness and proactive threat defense, reducing complexity, dwell time, and time to containment.

In its announcement, the company said Bricata will use the funds to accelerate go-to-market expansion and investments in research and development.
