Aphelion Orbitals Raises $500,000

Aerospace startup Aphelion Orbitals announced the close of $500,000 in seed financing from an undisclosed investor.

Aphelion Orbitals was founded in 2015 to produce a game-changing nanosatellite launch system that allows regularly scheduled orbital access at an unprecedented rate and cost. As the aerospace industry matures, high-budget, high-cost missions have given way to integration and miniaturization. Aphelion Orbitals develops technologies to provide highly integrated solutions to allow ticket-like space access and commercialization.

The company revealed that the funding will enable completion of its CubeSat product line and propulsion system development.
