Talla Raises $8.3 Million

Artificial intelligence startup Talla announced it has secured $8.3 million in Series A financing. Glasswing Ventures, Avalon Ventures, Pillar Capital Management, LAUNCH Fund and PJC participated in the funding.

Talla aims to take care of the time-consuming, administrative aspects of jobs, so users can focus on doing work they love. Available on Slack, Hipchat, and Gchat, Talla responds to natural language and can answer questions, automate workflows, schedule meetings, and more.

In its announcement, the company said the additional investment will be used to expand sales and marketing efforts and to continue investing in Talla’s advanced natural language processing infrastructure.
