Swallow Solutions Raises $726,000

Consumer startup Swallow Solutions announced it has secured $726,000 in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Swallow Solutions aims to help individuals suffering from swallowing disorders, generally known as dysphagia. Dysphagia is often caused by weak mouth and throat muscles and other conditions. The company focuses on two areas: therapeutic devices for diagnosing and treating swallowing disorders, and nutritional food products tailored to patients’ diagnosed levels of swallowing difficulty.

According to the company, it plans to use most of the money raised in the latest funding round to continue developing thickened beverages for patients with dysphagia.
