Sure Raises $8 Million

Insuretech startup Sure announced it has secured $8 million in Series A financing. Six investors contributed to the round: IA Capital Group, Menlo Ventures, ff Venture Capital, Nationwide Ventures, Assurant, and AmTrust.

Sure is a mobile app that allows people to purchase insurance when and where they want it from the convenience of their smartphones. The company offers insurance from the world’s most trusted providers, delivered without complicated forms or lengthy wait times.

According to Sure, the funding will enable the company to continue product development, drive user acquisition, boost marketing initiatives, and bolster the team with new hires.
