Software Startup StreamSets Secures $20 Million

StreamSets announced it has raised $20 million in Series B financing. Three investors participated in the round: New Enterprise Associates, Accel Partners, and Battery Ventures.

Founded in 2014, StreamSets provides continuous ingest technology for the next generation of big data applications. Its enterprise-grade infrastructure accelerates time-to-analysis by bringing transparency and processing to data in motion.

According to the company, proceeds from the funding will be used for market expansion in North America and Europe and to accelerate delivery of new capabilities in its platform components.
