Software Startup Shortlist Raises $2 Million

Shortlist announced the completion of $2 million in seed financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Impulse VC, FundersClub, Alchemist Accelerator, and Investor.

Shortlist automates the process of managing large pools of contractors, freelancers, and vendors, and it can be used for tasks from on-boarding new workers to organizing projects and managing services procurement, payments and tax forms. Shortlist’s enterprise users include Publicis Groupe, CBRE, Hays, Roche, AKQA, and Western Governors University.

The company revealed that the new funding will be used to enhance Shortlist’s payment and tax offerings, helping companies automate freelancer and vendor payment operations. Shortlist will also expand its sales and marketing team at its San Francisco headquarters.
