Security Startup Trusona Secures $10 Million

Trusona announced it has closed $10 million in Series B financing. Microsoft Ventures and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers participated in the round.

Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Trusona offers an authentication solution designed to guarantee users security for the most sensitive online transactions. The company has developed what it says is the world’s first ensured digital identity authentication solution, and it aims to  lead a movement toward a world where there are no passwords to be created, remembered, stolen, or compromised.

The company said it will use new funding to accelerate growth and international expansion.
