Calient Technologies announced the completion of $1.3 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Calient, based in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks to be the global leader in adaptive photonic switching. It builds systems that enable dynamic optical layer optimization, dramatically improving utilization rates of computing resources and networks.
