Mobile Startup Pray.com Closes $2 Million

Pray.com announced the completion of $2 million in seed financing. Three investors participated in the round: Science, Greylock Partners, and Spark Capital.

The mission of Pray.com is to empower people to “live with purpose and connect with faith.” Pray.com is a website and mobile application that allows users to connect with faith leaders and join their communities. The company’s goal is to create a world where everyone leaves a legacy of helping others.

According to CEO Steve Gatena, once Pray.com reaches enough scale to monetize, it hopes to do so by offering faith organizations paid services.
