Voodoo Manufacturing announced it has raised $5 million in seed financing. Four investors contributed to the round: General Catalyst Partners, NextView Ventures, 645 Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Voodoo Manufacturing uses low-end 3D printing technology to provide fast, affordable, and high-volume 3D printing. It handles prototyping and design as well as bulk production of 3D printed parts. With its 128-desktop 3D printer factory, the company helps clients bridge the gap between their first prototypes and their first high volume production runs (more than 10,000 units). Voodoo has worked with leading companies, including Intel, Universal Studios, SyFy Channel, Autodesk, Viacom, and Chipotle.
