Landed Raises $5 Million
FinTech startup Landed announced the completion of $5 million in financing from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
Landed is on a mission to help society’s professionals build financial security near the communities they serve. Many critical professionals such as teachers struggle to build financial security close to where they work because high land and housing prices prevent them from living there. Landed is a financial coach that helps educators and other professionals save money faster, even in expensive places, and, when the time comes that they are ready to buy homes, the company provides tools to make the process easier.
In its announcement, the company said that money earned from the upside on the Landed’s investment will be put back into the CZI Fund to help keep it sustainable and fund down payments for more educators.
