Global Energy Transmission Raises $3 Million

Wireless startup Global Energy Transmission (GET) announced the completion of $3 million in seed financing. Three investors participated in the round, among them IP Fund and Draper Associates.

GET is US-based company with an engineering center in Russia. The company owns a strong IP portfolio in wireless power charging solutions, and it is focused on solving the problem of short battery lifetimes with commercial drones.

According to the company, the new funds will be used to develop the company’s industrial wireless power charging system and deploy wireless power networks across major cities worldwide.
