Daily Harvest Closes New Financing

Consumer startup Daily Harvest completed a new round of financing from a roster of investors including famed tennis player Serena Williams, celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow, Collaborative Fund, and WME.

Daily Harvest was founded when Rachel Drori, a busy New Yorker and even busier mom, found herself craving one of those beautiful Instagram-worthy smoothies. But with no time to research, prep, buy, measure, or blend before work, she knew there had to be an easier way to get her daily dose of good.

Daily Harvest now delivers frozen ready-to-blend smoothies and ready-to-heat soups made of whole ingredients. The company markets 14 different-flavored smoothies, and it also offers weekly and monthly packages of six, 12, and 24 smoothies.
