Covr Financial Technologies Secures $5 Million

Insuretech startup Covr Financial Technologies announced it has closed $5 million in financing. Four investors contributed to the round: Nyca Partners, Commerce Ventures, Connectivity Capital Partners, and Contour Venture Partners.

Covr aims to make it simple to protect the people and things that matter most in life. Through partnerships with financial institutions and advisors, Covr’s digital platform provides a simpler way to research, compare, shop for and buy insurance from top providers online and within minutes.

According to the company, it plans to use the proceeds to fulfill Covr’s strategic growth initiatives and expand its team.
