Certica Solutions Acquires Edtech Startup Unbound Concepts
Certica Solutions, a Software-as-a-Service company for K-12 vendors, announced today that it has acquired Unbound Concepts. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Through in-hand, knowledge-gathering tools such as BookLeveler, Unbound Concepts seeks to build a corpus of accurately leveled K-12 digital books and content and to facilitate data-backed dialogue between teachers and those who create the content that instructors use to teach students.
“Unbound Concepts has made important connections between book publishers, distributors, buyers, and educators by creating a common language between those stakeholders,” said Mark Rankovic, Certica’s president and chief executive officer. “We’re excited to execute the synergies between our respective platform capabilities to benefit our business partners.”
