Benefit Mobile Raises $2 Million

Benefit Mobile announced it has secured $2 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Benefit is a mobile fundraising solution that lets schools and nonprofits raise money “without ever asking for a dime.” Individuals are invited to download the mobile app and simply shop at any of Benefit’s participating national and local retailers. When they use the app at checkout, a percentage of the transaction goes to the supported cause of the users’ choice.
