Facial recognition technology company AimBrain Raises $4 Million

Security startup AimBrain announced the close of $4 million in Series A financing. BGF Ventures and Episode 1 participated in the funding.

Aimbrain is a web-based platform that offers multi-module, biometrics authentication solutions, including behavioral, facial, and voice -based identification. It enables financial institutions to validate customers’ identities on any device and across any channel, helping financial services companies maintain authentication and improve user experience for their clients. The platform manages risk by connecting with different biometric modules based on the risk level of the action. It also allows customers to use facial biometrics for ATM transactions, voice biometrics for call centers, and behavioral biometrics for smartphones.

In its announcement, the company said the investment will be crucial in helping the company expand its team.
