Transportation Startup Hyperloop One Brings in $93 Million

Hyperloop One announced the completion of $93 million in Series B financing. Eight investors participated in the round: Sherpa Capital, ZhenFund, Caspian Venture Capital, 137 Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Western Technology Investment, 8VC, and GE Ventures.

Hyperloop One aims to reinvent transportation and eliminate barriers of time and distance by using Hyperloop transport to move cargo and passengers efficiently and sustainably.

The company also announced that it is participating in privately funded feasibility studies to examine the economic and social benefits of existing Hyperloop routes in Finland and Sweden.
