Account based marketing platform Demandbase Secures $65 Million

Demandbase announced it has raised $65 million in financing. Eight investors participated in the round: Sageview Capital, Silver Lake, Adobe Ventures, Altos Ventures, Greenspring Global Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, and Split Rock Partners.

Demandbase is a targeting and personalization marketing platform for B2B marketers that provides targeted advertising and sales IQ solutions. Demandbase is powered by patented technology that makes it possible to deliver personalized ads to specific people and companies across the web and tailor the messages to engage and convert the companies to customers. Leaders at high-growth companies, including Adobe, Box, CSC, DocuSign, Dell and others, use Demandbase to drive better B2B marketing performance.

In its announcement, the company said it will use the funds to extend its account-based marketing leadership position, to accelerate innovation of its artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning technology, and to expand ABM adoption worldwide. Demandbase has received a total of more than $150 million in funding to date.
