Slice Raises $15 Million

Ecommerce startup Slice announced the completion of $15 million in Series B financing. GGV Capital and Primary Venture Partners participated in the round.

Founded in 2010 by Ilir Sela, Slice is a pizza ordering platform that connects people with authentic local pizzerias nationwide. Slice makes it easy to order local pizza wherever you are  in just a few taps. The Slice iOS app allows people effortlessly to reorder their favorites and to check out with a variety of mobile payment options.

According to the company, which has raised $20 million to date, it plans to use the funds to expand its investment in mobile applications and restaurant technology to develop new product capabilities that will improve the user experience and reach new markets.
