SkyX Secures $4 Million

Drone technology startup SkyX announced the completion of $4 million in financing from KuangChi Science Ltd..

SkyX is a Canadian company that builds vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles. The SkyX Unmanned Aircraft System is a platform for capturing data – ranging from infrastructure inspection to detecting hydrocarbon leaks – with great accuracy and at a reduced cost relative to manned aircraft. Its UAS was purpose-built for inspecting and monitoring infrastructure elements like pipelines or hydroelectric transmission lines over long distances.
