Meta SaaS Raises $2 Million

Enterprise IT startup Meta SaaS announced $2 million in seed financing. Barracuda Networks, Bazaarvoice, Capital Factory and Deep Space Ventures participated in the funding.

Meta SaaS saves companies money by giving procurement, IT and finance teams visibility into which SaaS application licenses are actually being used and by whom, with the goal of saving companies money by identifying underused applications.

In its announcement, the company said it will use the funding to fast-track further SaaS management product development, to hire full-time software engineers, and to scale up its sales and marketing functions.
